im currently at 325rwhp/ 342rwtq and dont plan on adding anything more anytime soon
eventually ill be throwing in an ls3 (5+ years) but until then, the most i maybe do is throw a 100shot at it, and thats a big maybe
so basically should i get the stage 2 or 3? i think the 2 is more than enough for what ill be doing, but im reading everywhere that people are getting the 3 because its not organic and is just as street-able as the 2
the car is my DD for 4 months a year and only sees the track maybe once a month or so

The stage 3 is easy to drive...I'd get the stage 3 if I was you. In this case, more clutch is probably better than too little. I can't think of any drawbacks for you going with the 3 instead of the 2.
I was in this boat 2 weeks ago, I bit the bullet and bought a stage 3.
It's in the car, but I haven't test drove it yet. I'll post up tomorrow with comparison to my old factory? LUK clutch.

perfect thread. I was just gonna ask the same question. Im gonna order a clutch this week. fried my ls7 Z06 Clutch this past weekend at the track. Im pushing not that much more than greatskiiiier, 387 rwhp and 380 rwtq Probably gonna go with the stage 3....or stage 4 if its worth it. Any suggestions for greatskiiiier and myself?

Do a stage 3.... I have put 75 miles on mine now, there is only shudder if I try to slip the clutch. since I have 4.10s I can just let the clutch out, then hit the gas and it wont shudder. It's supposed to go away here soon. Pedal feel is just a tad harder than stock but it's worth it.

I opted for the Monster stage 3 over the stage 2. The thought of having a clutch capable of holding 700+ rwhp was the selling point, as I know that I'm always going to quest for more HP/TQ. The stage 3 is very easy to drive too.
I have both and vote Stage 2.
My Camaro is around 480WHP and soon to be 500. It's had a stage 3 in it for about 12k miles now. On the 2013 Hot Rod Power Tour, I discovered what a bad idea it was to take that clutch on a trip like that... 1.5 miles of hot rods all going through a small town stop sign, FML. The clutch did fine, but I have an incredible metallic scraping noise when I'm starting from a stop. It's been that way since the tour and still holds all the torque my 383 throws at it, but it's a little annoying.
My 00 Hombre LS1 swap is right around 400WHP with no plans on additional power. It's noticeably lighter (partly due to the stock MC vs Tick in the Camaro), has NO chatter and engages smoothly.
I don't think the Stage 3 is bad for DD use, it's definitely doing its job and I won't be swapping it for a Stage 2. However, if I had to do it again, I'd do a Stage 2 in my Camaro due to the feel and engagement with my Hombre's Stage 2.

I would get the stage 2 based on my experience with the stage 3. Some people tolerate a 3 fine but if it were my car I absolutely would not.
A stage 3 will also find every weak link from the back of the engine to the pavement because it is not forgiving.

I've had my stage 2 for about 1000 miles. Nothing bad to say about it, grabs like a *****. Didn't realize how bad my old clutch was slipping. first time I did a 1-2 wot shift the car almost went sideways on me!
