Default how to trim poly trans mount

Ive read about people shaving the pre load bumps on the bottom of the energy suspension poly trans mount. I also am having vibration issues from the height difference of the current mount thats in there (prothane) and the stocker (1.8" for the prothane and 1.55" for the stocker) I tried to use a razor blade, a file, nothing is working, the poly is too tough. Anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking about using the bench grinder but that will most likely clog up the wheel....im out of ideas.

Find a sidewalk. Rub it on the rough concrete. No bullshit it takes like 5 seconds to shave it down flat. I've done 3 or 4 ES mounts like that.

not sure what year car we are talking about..

if you have the factory shim (for LT1 years) you could remove one to make up for the taller height.

It really works, I figured it out after the same frustration. I was sitting in my garage on the concrete and just went to town, it rubbed off like an eraser.
