My friend has an 01, and he can get this factory hurst for 10 dollars, and he's going to order a LSS to go along with it. I know a lot of people say that they aren't any good, but he's currently stuck with the factory normal shifter if I'm remembering correctly, so he just wants to do this if he can.

How much do the factory hurst shifters usually sell for used?

The one the guy is letting'em get looks normal, the arm just has two pivot points about halfway down.

Im currently have pro 5.0 atm, I dont like it much, I would go MGW and be done with it.

Wait, is it really hard to tell the stock shifter from the slp ss optioned hurst shifter?

Cause I know my car didn't come from the factory with a hurst, but it has the same pivot points as the one posted above, but has the regular z28 shift **** on it. Computer's acting up so I can't post the pics I took, but it looks exactly the same.

The base shifter is thin metal(looks like a stamped steel plate) and the factory Hurst model is a solid piece.


My '00 Z28 was ordered with the Hurst shifter FWIW

ive had mgw pro 5.0 hurst billet plus and the stock hurst is the best

look like you got white ball style, where did you get it from ? im having hard time choosing between black and white ( im kinda like white ), its getting hot in the sun ?

I got it from some guy on ebay. Sold me the chrome short stick and the white ball for around $30 if I remember correctly. Maybe it was near $50, hell I cant remember.

I guess the previous owner swapped in the factory hurst into the car on mine.

Well, I've got another pro 5.0 on the way, and my friend is going to get it with the short stick.
