Default What clutch for 4000lbs 800hp daily driver?

My friends BMW 540 he built w/a turbo 5.3L/T-56 setup in it.. The new RAM powergrip HD didnt last long in it at all. The car is heavy, should put around 600hp to the wheels in its current form.
What clutch does one get that can put 800 to the wheels (future plans) not have to have a body builders leg to push in, drive nice on the street, and not go to hell right away?

Prob a quality Twin Disk set up, there are a few that make them now. I do not have need for one so I have not researched. But considering the operation and weight. I would be looking at something like that.

That is one cool sounding set-up. There are actually several options. You could opt for a Stage 3+ clutch kit or go with one of our SST or PT Trim Super-Twins. The Super-Twins would include a flywheel of course. You can PM/Email me for further details or give me a call as I would be happy to assist you. Thanks!

I went ahead and ordered an ACT twin. They have something for everyone. The price is really reasonable as well. As soon as it's in the car I'm going to do a full review, as I haven't seen one yet.

I've had good luck with SPEC PT series twins. They held 800/800 no problem.Still haven't had one let go yet with some over 30k miles.

Another option I recommend is the Mcleod RXT twins. They are around $1200.

I've got over 3,000 miles on my Monster 11" Ceramic clutch at 800/800. Pedal is a hair stiffer than my Monster Stage 3 was. Monster will have a twin on the market soon but for now I am enjoying the one I have.
