Exclamation Clutch pedal stuck to floor - need help

Today I was driving on the highway and went to shift from 3rd to 4th. I was not racing or going fast, just a nice 55mph. When I let off the clutch pedal, it stuck to the floor.

What does this mean? Time for a new master and slave cylinder? Which ones should I go with? I hear there is an adj. master and just a regular slave from GM.

Also, I need a clutch for the street since my car is my daily driver. I do not want any chatter. I don't want my car to sound like a pile of junk!

Any suggestions? Thanks!

An 01-02 Master cylinder fixed that exact problem for me.

Sounds like all you need is an O1 02 Clutch. Its a ZO6 Clutch.
Smooth and Strong While you are there
Get the 01 02 Slave.
Then make sure you get that Master Cleaned out real good
If you can remove it , take it apart and clean it all out, it will probably work fine.
Or you can just buy another Stock master. Do the drill mod for the occational time you wanna hop on it .
You won't even notice the drill mod in daily driving.

Can I use the McLeod adj. master with the GM slave cylinder? I'd rather have everything swapped out while I have the funds. TDP is having a special on their clutch install, so I might as well take advantage.

I don't know if the z06 clutch would be able to hold the tq. I am going to throw at it with a possible 75 dry shot in the future.

if you want a clutch to hold that shot at wot then you are going to have a clutch that chatters...
sorry man. hard to get the best of both worlds...
new spec 3 will hold it and chatter is not that bad...

i had a Z06 clutch in the ws6 and it did the exact same thing. Turns out one of the springs in the clutch assembly fell out, blocking it for dis-engaging.

My old spec stage 3 with stock MC was doing the same thing. The clutch pedal would stick to the floor after full power shifts. Turns out one of the springs in the clutch assembly had fallen out.

Yes you can use the Mcleod with the GM slave. Z06 won't hold go with the Mcleod clutch too, I love mine.
