Default Clutch petal sticking along with weird noise

Hey guys,
When i hit the gas hard and shift, my clutch petal feels sticky and takes a while to come back to the original position. also, when driving it hard, i hear/feel almost a grinding or slipping.

Do you think these two are related? maybe bad hydraulics, slave cylinder or clutch itself?

Thanks

in a situation like this, its usually best to trouble shoot the simplest solution first. so bleed the hydraulic system and go from there. could possibly be just air in system/nasty fluid.

Mine does the same thing. When I drive it hard the pedal sticks to the floor. I havent done anything about it yet, I'm just waiting til I get another clutch and slave all at the same time.

Is this a stock design, self adjusting pressure plate? If so, that may be your problem. My issues went away when I switched to a non self adjust plate.

I've been having this issue for a long time in my 2000 TA as well as my brother in his 2001 TA (sticky clutch pedal, hard to get in gear at high rpms). Weve done everything under the sun, bled, bled, bled, replaced slave, replaced master cylinder, drill mod, high temp clutch fluid...nothing has helped. From the years of researching on tech we have come to the conclusion that in our cases it is our weak stock pressure plates not being able to let go at high rpms. We will both be getting Diamond stage 2 clutches in the future.

As for the grinding/noise during acceleration I don't know.

the issue was a bad master cylinder which made the clutch slip on the pressure plate. could tell because once we took the tranny and clutch out, where were burn marks all over the pressure plate.
