Default Did hci 404, harder to shift at wot...

I finished my 404 ls2 w/ hci, probably 530-550 rwhp. I have zero transmission problems, but it seems quite a bit harder to rip gears at wot. Is this the synchros going or are they just not able to control the gears as well with this type of power? 45k ish.

I was just curious if it was having a hard time keeping up with the new power. That clutch should be able to hold your power, but if it's giving you probems in all gears it's probably not the trans. It could be a hydraulic issue, I'd flush the fluid to be sure it's fresh and bled. If that doesn't fix it, I'd consider getting a Tick Adjustable Master as you're stock one could be on it's way out especially if the car sat for a while and the seals went bad.

So hydraulics would give it issues when i have the clutch pushed in and am trying to rip from say 1st to second, 2nd to third, etc?

Yes, does the car creep forward when you rev it up in gear on a level surface? If so, then it isn't fully disengaging. If you weren't having a problem previously shifting it then I'm guessing it used to disengage fine and I doubt it's slipping at your power level, but I don't know it's condition so can't say for sure.

I ran my mityvac on my hydraulics for a bit and problem solved! Wow, you guys hit the nail on the head, I didn't even think about the hydraulics before.

Its night and day difference, I can rip the gears as fast as I want now, THANKS!
