Spec stage 3 is in.
I installed my my spec Stage 3 (Xpad) clutch today and everything went smooth. It took me and my brother about 6 hours to finisih the job. I also did the Master/Slave as well. The clutch pedal has a good feel to it and there is little chatter but I think it will go away. I only have 2 miles on the clutch right now. Overall I am very pleased with the setup. I just can't wait for the first 500 miles. I want to see how good it holds

I've got about 1.5k miles on it and it feels great now. The first 500 miles were a bit tough, and the first 100 a bear. It chattered a bit at break in and engagement was just off the floor. Now the chatter is just about gone (expect that when I go to 4.10s it should get even better) and the engagement is just about in the middle of pedal travel.

I just came back from a long drive (100 miles) and I agree with NHRATA01. The first 100 is a bear. 400 miles to go then it is track time!
99camaroSS,
I ordered the spec clutch flywheel package and I got everything except master/Slave. It even came with an alignment tool as well. Good luck

It is really not that hard. Just take your time. If your clutch is not aligned the tranny will never go in. The tool almost eliminates that possibily.

I just finished 500 miles on it today. I did not do any clutch dumps yet but I got on it and I was impressed. I spun 3rd hard and I was surprised to bark 4th gear. That clutch holds like a **** It still chatters a bit but is getting better.
