Default Slave dies after 2 days?

Sooooo mad...

Pull the trans to check rear main, fix trans leak, fix a broken key, etc.. ok comes out good, fixed it..

put it back in with the good slave (mexico one with AP stamped on it) not the china one.. through it in, doesnt even need a bleed.. runs great.. runs amazing for 2 days then all of sudden on the 3rd day on the way to work my clutch pedal goes limp.. nothing, no pressure at all..now the bellhousing is full of fluid.. wtf would cause this **** to go out in 2 days.. im so irritated, i dont want this to happen again.

do you have an adjustable master cylinder if so you may have it adjusted to where its pushing the slave to far, my guess is thats its a cheap pos slave cylinder from my experiance i dont care what markings are on them only run one from gm

local dealer wants 197 dollars.. no thanks.. any reason why an 02 SS slave is a different part #

on rockauto.com ( i use them all the time ) the 02 5.7L Slave is a different #, and its 88 bucks.. for an ACDELCO part. almost 120 dollar cheaper than the dealer..

Don't get the Delco. I put in a Delco last year and it died on me after two days! I'm still pissed... (I now have a GM slave.)
