Another "which clutch to buy" thread.....
I have a LUK replacement LS6 clutch in the car and it was perfect until I took it to the dragstrip and got it hot. Has maybe 2000 miles on it.
Now if you are rolling in 2nd gear, floor it granny shift it by the time you get to 4th the pedal is hard and wont shift to 4th.
Car has 375 RWHP, has the Tick master in it.
Car is primarily a street driven, full weight trackday/road race/HPDE car, will never go back to the drag strip.
Has a LS6 in it and may, in the future get a cam and 425 ish rwhp.
I am tired of pulling the trans in this car, 2 times for a rear main and 3 times when I first got it with the old motor for a pilot bearing, then a vibration, then the new clutch.
Car will never be launched at the track, and never power shifted.

Our level 2 will be great in your car!
It drives better than stock, takes the abuse, and will last like a stock clutch mileage wise. We also back them with a 12 month warranty and guarantee they do what we advertise them to do.
Give me a call, we'll save you the headache of shopping.

If you really want aftermarket, can't go wrong with TDPs clutches..Just be aware it wont feel as stock as some people may like.

I got the Diamond stage 2 in the car this morning.
A heads up for you guys, I have been fighting an oil leak for months on this car in the clutch area. 2 rear mains and it was still seeping back there.
I pulled the flywheel and found what appeared to be oil coming from the bolts that hold the rear cover on, coming through the bolts. There were droplets of oil on the bolt heads themselves on over 1/2 the bolts.
I pulled them out and put ultra black silicone on them, we will see what this does.
The clutch is a bit more grabby than the LS6, I will see how it does as it breaks in.
Peddle effort is more than I had hoped, I have a weak left leg due to Ciatic nerve problems in my back, but I will get used to it.
I will give an update as I put miles on it.
