im stuck between two trans builders guys. tdp offered a complete trans with a basic upgrade package and tripple cone syncros for 2300 rkt56 offers a trans with all new everything gears, bearings, ect with their upgrade package for 3600. neither company requires me to sed in a core who would you guys go with.

search TDP or give them a call you wont find one dis satisfied customer, he has done 3 of my cars.

I build a lot of T56 units and to be perfectly honest, I wouldn't hesitate to build a unit with used gears as long as they are in good shape. New is great but not really any better than rebuilt as long as it's done correctly. Take the cash you saved and spend it on a good clutch set up and bell housing. Just my $.02........

I don't know rkt56, but I know Jason from TDP and he did a great job. I'd go with him.
