Depends on what kind of power levels you are/will make? Our most popular build is a Level 2 which supports up to 600rwtq. What are your plans for the car, Strip, Road Racing, Street??

I would suggest doing a level 2 or Level 3 (if you want to plan for the 700hp later). As far as options, we suggest doing a new bearing kit at least, that way all is fresh with all new bearings inside the trans. The other options are up to you. If you have a 2000+ model fbody you already have a viper second gear.

Keep in mind that once we get your trans here and taken apart, if anything is broken or bent that is normally reused, that would be additional expense. If you are popping out of gear is could be something as simple as shift forks missing, OR maybe a bent shift fork. Either way we always call once the trans is apart to give you an update.

Let me know if you have anymore questions. Here is the links to our rebuilds:

Faceplating is strongly recommended for RACE CARS only. Its not a street friendly setup.

Bungs and Sprayers are up to the purchaser, it simply sprays tranny fluid on the input to keep it from starving from fluid and burning up. Again if you arent planning to make it an all out drag car and its going to be mostly street, it would really benefit you. The idea is to keep fluid on the input shaft when a car is "lifting the front" and the fluid in the trans travels to the back starving the input.

it would benefit or wouldn't? would you recommend bungs and sprayers on a level 2 t56 rebuild for a 500whp street daily driver car? just curious, should be looking into a rebuild soon.

^^^I'm also interested in that. I thought it was only for race cars, but my car sees a lot of hard pulls and I'm curious if I would benefit from the sprayers. Does the option come with a pump or would the customer have to add that? If I would have to add the pump which one do you recommend?

The customer would supply the pump set-up after we weld the bungs and sprayers into the case of the trans.
