Default Hydraulic line wont go back into slave, need help asap.

I keep pushing and the damn thing won't go back in, I can get it about halfway then when the white keeper hits it just won't go, iv cracked the bleeder on the slave also. Even my 250 pound friend who benches 350 pounds is pushing on it and it will not go! What should I try differently?

Make sure there isnt trash or anything in the slave. Or the white plastic keeper isnt bent or anything like that. Thats about the only thing i can think of off the top of my head. Look everything over good and try to wiggle it in

did you replace the oring?

I did, found out it was a special oring from gm. after about 20 different ones I ended up using a green one.

Take the oring off and try pushing it in. if it goes in its the oring and you need to find the correct one. It took me half a day to figure it out.

No same o ring, there shouldn't be any trash either, its a brand new slave. The white keeper is supposed to have a crack looking thing right so it can come on and off? My friend took it off once but I looked where it came apart and it looked like the crack was supposed to be there.

Look at my thread its in here somewhere I have a new tick Master and I can't get the fitting for the hydraulic line in and its brand new. Take a srew driver and work the valve in the line maybe somethings stuck. I did that it freed it but the fitting still won't go in. It seems we are having the same problem let me know if you have any luck.....

I here you man!! I talked to Steve from Monster and I asked him how strong do you have to be to put that fitting in and he said his wife could put the fitting in. I really dont think his wife is a body builder or lifts more than me 315 lbs. LOL I've decided to move on to installing my fuel lines at this point I'll get back to this later this crap is driving me crazy!!!!

Those are easy to install. First off i never use an old setup. Always new. And their are two types. One does not use the white release sleeve. It has a hair pin clip. The other uses the sleeve. Either way if you used a new O Ring you have to coat it with DIALECTRIC. Other wise it wont go in. I always pack that with Dialectric. Makes it very easy to install.

Well I tried using a ling screw driver to pry it in while pressing against my exhaust and it went in further but the white ring flew off so I had to pull it back out.

Well I found an old master slave from my old Textralia clutch and tried that line and in went in like butter. I inserted it into both my old slave cylinder and the new one I have on my clutch and it went into both without a problem. So I guess my line from my new Tick master was hydro locked or something. In anycase Tick stepped up and said they would send me a new braided line to replace the broken one. Also to my surprise I was able to take the line off through the top without taking off all of the master. 703Camaro, I'm pretty sure its your line also the only bad thing is your probably going to have to take the whole master off. Sucks for you!!
