MGW here, but honestly no experience with anything else on a t56 to compare it to. 2-3 is seamless--almost have to try to miss it.

Forgot to mention no noise or rattles to the Hurst billet, but I used the permatex hi temp gasket seal liberally on the boot and shifter

I switched from B&M to Pro 5.0. It was a great switch. I haven't tried the MGW so I can't speak on it.

In what way is the Pro 5.0 better than the B&M?

I have the Pro5.0 with Lou's short stick. I sometimes have a hard time getting it into reverse. Other than that it has been great. No missed 3rd shifts at all like I did with the stock Hurst. I want to try the MGW. Anyone one here had experience with going from the PRO 5.0 to the MGW?

Not sure who's going to chime in, but all the guys I've read on here that have tried an MGW from a Pro 5.0 wind up putting the 5.0 for sale, if that tells you anything

My car came with a Pro 5.0 and I added the lou's short stick to it. Liked that shifter and had it for almost 2 years. I heard a few things about the MGW from the Corvette community so I decided to give it a try. Night and day difference. As long as I am in the LSx community I WILL have an MGW shifter in said vehicle. The build quality is top notch, the centering spring is pure wonder and just the ability to hit gears is outrageous. I've now had the MGW on for about a year and a half and can't see myself going to anything else. To put it simply the MGW is pure awesomesauce lol

I also bought two sticks for my shifter as I cut one down an inch or so (although it is short when you receive it) for street use and kept one at the regular height for auto x and road course. Hope this helps.
