Default Mityvac question

Just a quick question, while bleeding your clutch with a mityvac is there anyway possible it could push back air into the system like I've been told? I would think that would be impossible because it's a vacuum.

ahh...it makes vacuum so I don't see how it "pushes" air back in system.

if you disconnect it and there is a bubble still in the system that has not reached the Mighty Vac then yes the suction from the MC/Slave when released causes loss of vacuum which would pull the bubble back.

I find using low PSI, around 5-6, works better as to much will suck fluid out also

Sorry I mean't make it have more air than it did to begin with I guess is what I mean. Which your answer obviously means no not possible, unless the air was already in it to begin with thats all that can get in it

It is, if I pump the mityvac it is just bubbles like crazy coming up the line but if I hold it at 10-15psi it brings up bubbles for a bit then stops

15psi will likely suck up fluid as well as bubbles...lower psi...take your time
