Default LS7 clutch kit information

Threads and PMs are so numerous that I believe it would be beneficial to all of you members for me to post up pricing on the clutch kit and accessories for everyone here. Year after year this continues to be one of the most popular clutches for the stock and mildly modified guys. Here's how it currently breaks down:

LS7 Clutch kit from SDPC: $499.95
LS7 clutch, pressure plate, and flywheel. Includes new flywheel bolts and pressure plate bolts.
https://sdparts.com/i-23179965-sdpc-...-flywheel.html

Same kit but with an aluminum flywheel AND arp bolts: $599.95

F-body slave cylinder: $143.99
https://sdparts.com/i-19921934-gm-fa...mclu-actr.html

F-body master cylinder
: $160.99
https://sdparts.com/i-19921941-gm-fa...smclu-mas.html

Pilot bearing: $18.43
https://sdparts.com/i-19873736-gm-fa...od-design.html

Clutch alignment tool: $6.89

Shipping is included in the lower 48 states. We stock plenty of these and orders generally go out same day. The clutch setup is a direct bolt-in for your f-body and provides a significant upgrade in power handling capabilities in comparison to your stock setup, yet provides a near stock clutch pedal feel

If you have questions all you have to do is give me a call at 1-800-456-0211, extension 358.

We will beat any competitors shipped price. Our website DOES accept PayPal

19.5 pounds for the aluminum vs 26 pounds for the stock steel flywheel. I can get you a price for just the flywheel in the morning.

I have a master cylinder (gm) that is in the car with 110k miles....
Really not into the whole adjustable master. Ill get use to the pedal to where ever it happens to be.

Do u recommend the drill mod or just buy the McLeod line which flows more than stock line?

The drill mod should be adequate. If not, you can always change the line later.

I think people misunderstand the reason for adjustable master cylinders. It's not so you can put the pedal "where you want it". It's to set the pedal height where the clutch wants it for the proper amount of TOB travel. It allows you to adjust for a wider variety of clutches. If you like a high pedal, and you set it unnecessarily high, because that's where you like it, you risk damaging the slave or the clutch itself.

You set it where the clutch needs it to be and then learn your engagement point

It depends how early you are spraying and total power made. If you want to spray basically right out of the hole you might have problems in a heavy car making alot of power. It iss still a stock clutch. It's better than your stock f-body clutch, but not for heavy racing use or big power

It would probably work fine, but for track duty it might be good to step up one level into an aftermarket clutch
