My BC2 is a great piece but it hinders acceleration for what we are doing so in goes the 7.25" You will never experience anything like a clutch that has low moi for acceleration. I figured man 10 pounds will make a minimal difference. That 10 pounds quadrupled the MOI of the 5.5" likely. I was so wrong and Hio tried to tell me lol I will say this for an all around low maintenance clutch RPS is 100% best option out there. Drives phenomenal and coupled with the tilton HRB it is a great piece. (some people are never satisfied)
I think I’m nervous I’ll ruin the clutch lol not too sure why I’ve got it in my head that it’s going to wear at a higher rate with me using it but that’s my fear

I completely agree. Ls7 is junk and way too heavy. Even with the fidanza it’s too heavy

I have a friend driving one around in Florida in a 5th gen. He was pointed in the heavy flywheel direction by the seller and they finally listened and went the 26 pound route instead and couldnt be happier. They really drive like a stock clutch just has great feel and it is consistent.

Spent a week tuning the car and getting all the tables perfect. Runs better then ever. Idles like a puppy now.

Andrew, Tony is still a dealer for RPS, but he doesn’t offer the RPS in a lightweight version. Here’s a link to a thread I made about Tonys latest lightweight offering, with info inside from Tony about the RPS dealings.

Actually new developments there Scott.....some things changed at RPS recently and I am once again able to purchase my unique RPS lightweight steel BC2 clutches again (same clutch I sold a bunch of a few years ago which this thread obviously references)

Andrew reached out to me....I will reach back out directly to him now as well

Regards,
Tony

Great news Tony. I’m buried in college baseball traveling with Brandon currently, but I’ll touch base with you soon to catch up.
