Default Input Shaft Retipping Repair

Looking for information regarding tip repair on a T56 input shaft. Does anyone know if this can be repaired? Would like to find someone close to Phoenix but I'm willing to ship input shaft out of state if I have to. Here are some pics. Would it be ok to use it like this or is it not recommended at all. I will only use pilot bushings from now on.

Any shop that does grind/plate/grind repair can fix the shaft. There are several aviation repair shops in Phoenix that can do that for you. I would guess the price to be 3-400 bucks.

Pilot tip is wasted. Repair or replace.

Send it to Texas Drivetrain Performance or Standard Transmission & Gear to get it repaired.

Give TDP a call. They're good about giving you solid advice on the pros/cons for something like this. That is, better to repair or replace.

Found a guy local. Charged me $110. I'm going to pick up tomorrow morning. Will post pictures of work performed. Wanted to keep the OEM piece and have it done fast.

I know it's been a long time, but this is what the guy was able to do for repair. I actually have the transmission installed for a month already so far so good. Have driven the car for about 200 miles since I did the rebuild.
