Default LuK 04-905 Clutch Set

I'm thinking about picking up the LUK clutch & flywheel set. It comes with flywheel bolts, but should I get the ARP bolts or will the bolts in the kit be good enough?

Luk is a legit OEM supplier. Inspect and run them.

I installed this kit a few months ago, no complaints. But my recollection is that it only came with pressure plate to flywheel bolts, not flywheel to crank bolts.

Im running one in my car currently. So far so good. I used ARP hardware for both the flywheel to crank and pressure plate to flywheel bolts.

How would this clutch do in a cammed car? Thinking of going with it behind my mild cam 6.0. seems to be a good deal from a known brand, just don't want to fry it with having more than stock power. Just a dd/street car.

I wouldn't use it on a cammed car. single disc should be fine, just a higher performance one like RAM, McLeod, centerforce, spec

Some of the Spec clutch option Should are really inexpensive compared to compretition as well.

I'm in the process of installing the luk setup too. The flywheel doesn't look like the holes are chamfered which the ARP instructions say to check for. I'm wondering if the stock bolts are required? Any thoughts and/or experiences?

if the shoulder of the bolt is going flush when tightened, I don't see why it matters unless the bolt is smaller diameter than the hole.

ARP bolts have a small chamfer going from the shank of the bolt to the flange, so a chamfered hole is required for the bolt to sit flush on the surface.

yup, but if you aren't sure, just look at the bolt and see if it's flush. if it's flush, you good. i run the ARP only because i had a set laying around

well, ended up with this clutch. Can say it is holding up pretty well under my Beefy wagon and behind my mild cammed 6.0. only has a couple thousand miles on it so far, but no slippage beating on it at the drag strip this past weekend.

I run this clutch in my wagon also. Had it for a couple years. Very happy with the pedal pressure and how it engages...

I wonder if this is the Luk branded version of the LS6 clutch. Did you compare pressure plates between the two?
