Default Anyone regret buying Magnum F?

I think I twisted an output shaft on my Cryo treated Tick stage II T56 since none of my yokes will bottom out on the output shaft anymore. Considering replacing with a Magnum F. Looking for feedback. Is it a plug and play unit? Anything I need to know before buying & installing? Anyone hate their Magnum F?

Love mine. Plug and play minus the yoke. Best shifting transmission I’ve ever had in anything.

That seem to be the general consensus among those who have installed one. Thanks for chiming in.

Curious, did you opt for the wide or close ratio gearing? What rear ratio do you have?

I have the F-Body T-56 Magnum and it's great. Best manual I've had to date. Not sure why as it's very similar to the TR6060 units I have had in 3 other cars. It's well worth the money. Mine had the stock 1st to 4th gears with the shorter 5th and 6th.

Close ratio with a 3.73 rear. I’m gonna go 3.90 rear just to help me with powerband during roll racing. I just need a hair more...

I think you cna swap it out. Like you I wouldn't mind that .5 6th OD as well but as much highway driving I do I don't plan to change it.

Almost bit the bullet when output shaft on my sons car broke a few months ago. But got real lucky and they had a viper shaft that showed up and I got it. Otherwise it woulda been a Mag F for sure. I know some guys that have them and they love them way more than T56.

I'm considering buying one as well from Tick. Anyone know what t56's are going for to recoup some money?
