Did you do the bronze cup insulator? That makes them more noisy than the plastic bushing.

Yes I did. I forgot about that. Makes sense, but I believe the mgw also contributed since there's no "isolation bushing." Sorry, I have no idea what else to call it. My hurst shifter had this bushing in there. I do like the mgw shifter, but I'm not sure I'd pay the money to do it again. I also had to do the detent ball mod as my shifter was way too difficult to shift.

I have the plastic bushing and don't find the MGW any louder than the factory Hurst. Hand position feels better with the MGW. The detent mod helped reduce the notchiness some for me.
