We have good feedback on our Summit Pro Twin clutches right here on LS1Tech. For a first-hand review of the Organic SUM-700901 check out @ddnspider full review thread. Sorry about the lack of inventory at the moment. We have multiple stocking orders open trying to get these in for our customers. The current ETA is at the beginning of December.

I ran the McLeod RST and now run the Summit Racing twin disc. RST was fine until I put a tire on it and got some traction, then it didn't last long. So far the Summit twin disc has been holding up fine (organic disc version) at north of 600whp. Drives like butter, and was much cheaper than the RST with a flywheel. Would buy the Summit twin disc again over the RST. December is only a month away....I'd wait for it.

The RST while rated at 800hp doesn't like a ton of abuse with hard launches.... If you are going to abuse it... just get the RXT. The RXT will take the abuse and still drives great. The RST literally has the pedal pressure of a Honda Civic and is one of the nicest street clutches out super non grabby. The RXT while slightly stiffer.... still drives great.
What does the Summit clutch/steel flywheel combo weigh? Is there an aluminum flywheel option?

In my personal experience, I will never own, deal with McLeod again. Had trans in and out 7 times, clutch sent back 3 times and finally got it to work. This was all before I was able to drive it a mile. An RXT that felt like a stg 3 single disc. Hard pedal, on/off engagement.
I have only heard good reviews of Summits, so no personal experience there.
I only use Monster now. I have installed about 20+ Twins in other cars, One in my wifes 5th Gen and my sons 01 Z has a Triple disc. Best feeling clutches I ever felt. I get to drive newer cars all the time (GM Tech). Out of all those I've done, The only one that had issues was my sons. Immediately sent it back and there was a problem with the pressure plate. They had it back to me in 3 days and been perfect ever since. But a Triple is whole lotta money and a whole different animal utilizing a different Slave setup. But the clutch feel is like driving a Chevy cruze. And I have owned 2 cruzes with manuals.
