Default which shifter do you like.

I've been having problems with my hurst comp + shifter. It feels loose and hard to find 2-3 and sometimes 3-4 .I have had the shifter about 3 years and did not have this problem until about 6 months ago when I lost a tranny.I am looking at the B&M ripper or the pro 5.0 could you guys tell me how you like the shifter you have thanks.

I like my B&M Ripper, its a very solid piece. I can't comment on the Pro 5.0 though since I've never driven a car with one.

I had the same Comp Plus shifter. I loved it. Loved the solid feel and throw configuration. I did upgrade to the Billet Plus because I needed the external stops. I frigging love this shifter.

Another Pro 5.0 here. Shaved 1 1/2"-2" off the handle and it is absolutely perfect, along with a t-handle...

pro 5.0, cut short, seems there is alot of feel in it. = more work involved between shifts and the .05 taken off my clock...better with the normal height stick.....i think. GOOD overall rating here

I've driven cars with pretty much every shifter in it, pro 5.0, hurst (factory, comp+, billet+), b&m ripper...

But I personally prefer the Kirban Kwik-Stik. Bought a used one 3 years ago and it's still working perfect today.
