I have this clutch, and all i can say is that it has the stock pressure, and for of now, i have pacesetter LTs, true duals, lid, and that. Holds up nice and the pressure does not change. And the price is nice also with a flywheel!

It may be a more reliable clutch as it is required to pass all of the vehicle development testing at GM. So the life of the clutch is scrutinized and the performance of it is also probably pretty consistent from clutch to clutch. GM does have requirements for friction (tolerance range) and I would doubt aftermarket parts have similar tight requirements.

I do have this clutch on my car and so far it has held up well. But I recently ran in to some hydraulic problems so I am not sure if the clutch is still OK or will need replacement once I iron out if the master cylinder or slave cylinder went bad.

I think it's a great clutch. I upgraded from my SPEC III and am more than happy so far!

I think it's a pos. Mine was slipping at like 7-8k. Threw in the Mcleod kevlar and started leaving rubber on the road in 3rd and 4th.

I agree with InMy01TA, I think the z06 clutch is junk...01-02 cars already have a z06 clutch as it is. Ive got a header car and my clutch was slipping before i even put them on...Now when I launch my car the clutch will stick to the floor...Time for a SPEC clutch

its not a bad clutch, its just not something you want if you will be modding the car. my clutch held my bolt-ons car pretty good. it is starting to slip pretty bad now, but that is due to the nitrous, i wasn't expecting it to hold the 100 shot.

Its OK to the level of basic free mods and small bolt-ons but after a few serious mods and nittos its gone real quick.I had mine put in under warranty at 25K and at 45K I started heavy into headers/cam/gears and nittos and it was done in no time.I'm agonizing on which one to buy now.
