Default Shifting and Fast and Furious Question

Ok i know youve all seen the movie...But dont flame me for posting this lol , but i always thought it was cool how when they shifted gears in the manuals it had a metalic clicking sound. Does anyone know why it did that? or if we can do it to our cars?

I think our cars make that sound...it's just the sound of American muscle drowns it out though...lol

put a metal cylinder around the base of your shifter under your shift boot thats a tad larger than the stick.... see if thats the sound your going for. or get a pro 5.0 and set the stops correctly
