Default M6 for 1000+rwhp and 1200+rwtq

Is it possible to have one that will support it? Also what kind of clutch would it take??

I won't claim to be an expert on the subject, but if you are going with that kinda power, I think your only option would be a top of the line g-force tranny with all the bells and whistles. As for the clutch, anything under a twin would be asking for trouble IMO.

If it was me, I wouldn't even consider a 6 speed at those power levels. My shifting sucks bad enough with my bolt-on car.

I'd prolly take a shot at it with a RAM VDS910 and a G-force tranny. It'll only hold as long as you don't miss gears, or beat on it constantly

I would think a GForce kit with a 300M imput and main shaft would be a good start.. Id be worried about that o' so durable case made out of top quality pot metal.Start feeding something quadruple didgit numbers and watch stuff move around. Id be looking at Tilton clutches they make a LS1 specific set up. A triple disc carbon clutch should be good enough,if you have never driven one ...boy are you in for a supprise

A bunch of the drag vipers use the g-force trannys. The yellow viper running 8's uses the g-force tranny so it should hold up fine. Hope this helps. Good luck with the car and banging gears. Should be a lot of fun to drive.

Viper's have run 8.75 on the six speed. But they are wondering exactly how long it will last ragging on it. They havn't run it more than a handful of times at the track. If you want true, reliability....talk to my buddy, Jerico.

You will have a TON of fun with one of those.

I have driven one before(7.25 metalic triple disc) and its like an on off switch for your trans you cannot slip one well you can for a little bit then its time for a rebuild..traffic would defently kill it guess its a poor suggestion
