Default LT1 pedal & crossmember in LS1 car?

I am beginning a 6 spd swap in my Z next week, and I have all of the parts from a '97. I was wondering if I can use the pedal assembly and crossmember from the '97 on the '98. Can anybody help me out on this?

Yes, and I know that the tranny won't work, but I am wondering whether or not I can use the pedals and crossmember.

if it's JUST the pedal, i don't see why you wouldn't? a pedal is a pedal; i bet you could use a tractor pedal if you wanted.

Actually, it's the entire assembly, (all 3 pedals), from the '97. All of the switches are on it as well. I'm hoping it will work, as far as bolting in, using the switches, and hooking up the hydraulics. Can anybody verify this for me?

The pedals will work. You might want to swap the brake switches over. I have 98 pedals in my 94. The cross member will not work. The boltholes on the body are different

Thanks guys...I was just worried about the pedal assembly alone. I was asking for a friend who is wanting to do the swap and found a LT1 pedal assembly.
