Revers Lockout.
I am doing an a4 to m6 swap. I have everything wired up exsept the revers lock out. Will the PCM be able to control the revers lockout noid. It is an A4 PCM but it has a pin 44. Or will it only work when i have the PCM flashed over to a M6 tune?

Sorry, don't know that one for sure. I would suspect that you would have to have it reflashed to have the M6 functions (come on, you know you want that skip shift )
Have you checeked the conversion sticky above? I thought I saw something on that in there. If not you might try asking in the PCM section.
Good Luck with you conversion.

im not doing the exact same swap as you, but i am running into a similar problem
i am swaping in a 350 t56 into a gmc sonoma
i was planning on hooking the reverse lockout to my brake light switch, or even just getting a shift **** with a button in it to control it or my last resort would be a switch on the dash
the only think i woory about with hooking it to the brake light swithc, is it getting over used and going bad
i duuno, hope this helps

true, but the purpose of reverse lockout it st prevent shifting into frever when trying to hit 5th
and i would rather have it installed and never need to use it than not install it, miss a shift and **** something royaly

OK i am going to wire the Lock-out to the PCM. Does the PCM have a wire coming out of pin44 or do i have to go and get a pin. And if i do need to get a pin where can i get one or what would i use?

Ok I am running into the SAME EXACT problem.
I JUST did the a4 to m6 and trying to throw it into reverse with the car off OR on is a royal BITCH.
I dont have the reverse lockout as a regular m6 has. But I also dont have the skip shift problem. My mechanic said I would just need to tune it out because he couldnt find the hookup to put the eliminator in. So I have the eliminator for sale but that is neither here nor there.
Anyways.. my shifter is alittle TOO notchy and a bitch to bang 3-4 for some reason. Like I have to come over a quater inch when coming down.
Reverse got hung up on me 2 days ago. IO couldnt get it to come out. I had to eventually pop the clutch while pulling hard on the shifter for it to "pop" out.
No problems since then. But the throwing it into reverse is a BIIIITCH!
