I have just installed a Hurst Billet shifter in my 99 TA and when you are on the car hard and try to shift into fourth gear fast it grinds like it hasn't syncronized yet. Anyone else have this problem and what is the remedy? Thanks

Your shifter is not the cause of this unless you have the stops mis-adjusted.

I have put the original shifter back in the car and tried it and there is no problem when it is in the car. So I don't know what's up with the Hurst shifter I got.
