Default Stock Hurst Shifter??

Could someone tell me if this is the stock hurst shifter that came on our cars as an option...I know that my car did come with one because it says so on the pass. side door. I just cant be a 100% sure that it is cause I am the third owner of my car. I got this shifter just sitting here and I am trying to sell it. Just want to be sure before I get rid of it. Thanks.

Sorry for the insanely large pics...

Looks like a stock upper handle/ stick ( seems someone has put rubber between it and the shifter as some is sticking out) The base of any factory Hurst I recall had a gold color to it, not black, but the dimensions seem correct. Could this have been painted? The aluminum "tower" and the cover boot look to be factory Hurst correct.

That does not look like my factory Hurst shifter.

It looks like my factory hurst with the exception of the color of the base (mine's a goldish color).

Just a thought, but it may be an SLP shifter.

Thanks for the help guys...is it still worthy to sell as a hurst? Cause I have no idea what the hell it is...I mean I know my car came with a hurst as an option and it was replaced with an B&M ripper...

As was mentioned above, it may be an SLP part which, I think, was made by Hurst. Go for it.

That looks just like a hurst except for the color of the base. Try skratching the base and see if that is paint on it. Even though the base is a different color, I'm sure that is a hurst.

The non hurst has a thinner base, it may not be a hurst, but as others have said an slp shifter (it's a matter of semantics as the slp is made by hurst)

That is the HURST Competition Plus shifter.

Thanks Lithium...it's hands down better than the crappy stock shifter, coupled with the UMI short stick...it simply ROCKS! Now to !CAGS.....Off to Radio Shack...

make sure you sell it as a stock hurst, because I bought a hurst for my 98z28 and it looked nothing like that, had a small bend near the bottom but then a straight bar to ****, it was the aftermarket hurst shifter and had "HURST" engraved on the arm...
