Default Cheapest place for SPEC Stage III

Hey I need a SPEC stage III clutch and aluminum flywheel. Which sponsor has it cheapest right now? I also need the '01+ slave cylinder. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Different strokes for different folks, I guess.

I'm running SPEC and I'll continue to run SPEC.

I bet %75 of this forum runs SPEC, as well.

To the original poster, look up Tick Performance in Mount Airy, NC - they're small, but they have got some killer prices - tick-performance.com

That is literally the 4th or 5th spec explosion I've heard about since I've been on LS1tech. Most of the SPEC failures happen between 500 and 3000 miles when the clutch starts slipping, gets glazed over, breaks springs, etc...

Im pulling a spec clutch out of my car. I wasnt happy with it, it may need a rebalancing. Its the 2/3 hybrid, and I also have a mcleod adjustable cylinder for sale. I will let them go cheap. Interested?

It's interesting that the guy whose Spec exploded told the story on Corvette Forum that his car was flooded out and that it wouldn't run for a month. Then the same day that he gets it running the clutch blows, coincidence? Spec most likely produces more clutches than any manufacturer, consequently there will be more failures. It seems to me that virtually every clutch manufacturer on this forum has had failures. The clutch is probably the most abused part on our cars. To me it's amazing more of them don't blow. The Mcleod scatter shield is a necessity IMO.

that flywheel and clutch were probably rusted over and all fucked up. And you only see people post problems, you never see the people post how great a clutch is because it works like its suppose to.

Where? The cheapest I've found an LS7 clutch w/ LS2 flywheel is over $600 shipped.

fred beans, i got my disk, pp, pilot bearing for 324 shipped. i think the flywheels are about 188 shipped, or close to it. i got mine from a friend which he covered shipping on it. only other thing needed is a throwout bearing, so i would say 525 for the whole package shipped

That is not the quote I got from them. It was $602 shipped for the clutch kit and flywheel, IIRC.
