Default Textralia Hydraulic line(SS braided)

Does anyone know when Textralia's new hydraulic line is coming out for the f-bodies? They said they were making a line that is larger than the factory line and would be an alternative to the drill mod and work better. Anyone have updated news on this?

Damn Aussies get our hopes up and then clam up tight. This is like the third thread asking about this new product that THEY advertised in here about with 0 reponses from them.

i found in another post you can buy the two fittings to make the master and slave 4an fittings and just buy the lines and fittings it would delete the quick disconnect though like the mcleoad kit has but at 150 dollars i willl make my own if the textralia kit is too expensive i will be making my own also so i can make it a little longer

Thank's Byun,

We have the Aussie cars set and the Corvette units are now ready.

f-bodies will happen when we receive the sample.

2-4 weeks Max!

Cheers

Pete.

What issues? I've got a 99 and have never had any trouble at all, except for having to replace the stock clutch with a textralia to support the power.

Yeah...I was PLEASANTLY surprised that I had to register as a new user, when I had been a member since 2002.

*sigh*

I guess I'll stop hijacking the thread...please keep us updated on this new part. Real world use reports would be nice as well

the stock SS clutch line has a couple built in restrictors in it.

when you clutch fast, all the fluid doesnt come back because of the restriction.. clutch fast again, and you'll find even more doesnt come back in time..... its hard on the clutch, and transmission.

the drill mod drills on one of these restrictors. this usually makes it tolerable, and makes the clutch feel better.
however, restrictors do remain in the line... a replacement line would fix that.

the main holdback keeping us from making our own lines, is that the connectors for the master cyl and slave cyl are GM only... they arnt common connectors, so you cant just buy them off the shelf.

Good post...I haven't done the drill mod on mine, but have noted some definite problems when trying to row gears. This piece is definitely going in the budget.

So when do you think it will be available to purchase? I'm doing my clutch swap between March 10th and 19th. Will it be available before then?

really, if someone would just make the fittings to go from the two connectors to AN fittings, that would be awsome.. then just some small braided line, 2 fittings, and we'd have a normal hyd clutch..

I've been waiting to pull the tranny out for this. So, before I continue my wait, I'd like to know a ballpark idea of how much this thing is going to cost?
