Ram seems to be holding ok. Carteks are ok too. The Twin Disk from what I hear is superb BUT it is a drivetrain destroyer. It will break your rear and driveshaft if put to the test, and I have heard of guys having internal trans damage.

Re: which clutch can take the most rwtq before slipping???
Hey BEAST I am considering a TnT F1 kit for my H/C/I 99 SS too. I only plan on 100 shot. I think my drivetrain will hold up, but I am not sure on what else I need to do. Ed Wright did my tuning, but he only tuned for NA not N20. Any suggestions, Mike @ Rapid told me I have 28' timing.

I'd recommend the Cartek for less than 550 rwhp, then I'd say it starts to get borderline. The great thing about it is that it doesn't ever overheat and you can do laps at the track. Seems to grab harder once its hot.
The dual-disk is definitely the strongest setup though. I don't really like driving them on the street though, they feel too off/on like a switch for me, and seem to have less pedal travel. The Cartek is excellent on the street.

Tony we disscused this on sat didnt know about the Cartek clutch. As stock as me car is i still cant get a good launch the clutch will just burn even with feathering it. Do you think this is a good mod to net some 1.7 60fts And is MTI(im sure they are) able to install this and the new slave in a day? Do you have any idea what installed costs are? I know you dont work there just asking.

I had no additional tuning once I had the kit installed. Im seeing 28 to 28.5* of timing @ WOT. I did install a Walbro 340 just to be on the safe side. My fuel pressure was dropping pretty low on the stock pump. Shoot me an email if ya have anymore questions man. Il be glad to share what lil I know. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Mike, MTI usually installs the McLeod Rev-Lok single disks in a car like yours. Those seem to be working excellent as well. Clutch/Slave installation in one day should be no problem, but I don't know the costs for a C5. Its definitely higher than an F-body.
