What kind of tranny does Tosto have in his HOSS? Don't forget the drive train doesn't care about HP, only torque. I can't quote any specific power outputs, but I see quite a few people with stout setups, H/C, bigger cubes, forced induction and N2O useage using T-56s that have been rebuilt with tougher internals. Maybe get in touch with a few of the sponsors and see what they think and have to offer.

...oh they are only 5 speeds, well you can probably add another section for another gear (think major tunnel hackage). Also I think you can shift without pushing in the clutch
also, G-Force makes other stout 5 speeds, based on the Doug Nash 4+1 / Richmond 5 speed design. Don't forget Jerico for strong manuals...

Rockland Standard Gear has a T56 they call "Tranzilla", which they claim is good for 1200hp/1000 ft.lbs. torque. Could not find a price on it, but I'm sure it's north of $6K, anyone know for sure??
