Wow, I just PM'd him yesterday asking the same question. Anyone frequent FRRAX that can mention to him to check this Forum? I too would like to get one, to install when I replace my clutch this winter.

I'll relay the message over there...I'm honestly not sure if he still does them, but might.

Looks like you should be covered. I'm glad I had mine with my new clutch install...it has already paid for itself in the saved aggrivation for bleeding my new master/slave that went in along with the new clutch.

Yes, definitely worth the money. It takes 2 minutes to bleed the clutch now and I do it all from underneath the hood of the car rather than on the ground.

It takes me a little longer than 2 minutes, but I do it with a pressure bleeder. Works quite well. I never even had to touch the fluid

It is nothing more than a line that screws in place of the standard slave bleeder screw-thingie (I say thingie because it is a little different). You run that line out your bell housing, and up by your Master Cylinder reservoir. The end of it has a standard bleeder screw on it (and steve-d actually puts an Earl's solo-bleeder on it), so you can bleed it more like a traditional brake caliper as opposed to blindly getting to the stock screw that sits inside the bell housing, and letting the fluid run everywhere.

That was my experience exactly, which is why I recommend him (and his product).

That's a cool looking setup. MeentSS02, I gather you didn't have total success with the power bleeder without the slave extension? Thx

the only down fall is you are going to make one hell of a mess screwing it in on an existing slave cylinder. id recommend drilling a very small hole on the back side of the bell housing so the fluid will drain out and not start to corrode things. but after that it seems to be the best sollution for bleeding the system when used in conjunction with the power bleeder.

I've found that plugging the hole in the reservoir will stop the fluid from draining when opening the slave - maybe a few drops at most. Is it even possible to screw the extension in without pulling the tranny and slave?

That I don't know...I got the power bleeder after I had already installed it. I had bled it both ways (pumping the pedal, and with the pressure bleeder), and this was less messy and easier. It adds fluid as it pushes it through, so it is just a matter of letting it do its job.

As for screwing it in...the slave will have to be removed to install this piece. You just wouldn't be able to get it tight enough otherwise.
