Default Interest in a billet output shaft for T-56's?

My output shaft is tweaked and I am having a billet unit made (ChrisK @ Speeddemon is doing it) as a custom job.

If there is interest out there SpeedDemon would comission a run of them and offer them for sale.

Question - would this be something you would buy, and what kind of price point (realistic) would you be looking for?

Thanks,
Chris Bennight

I would be interested if the price wasnt' too nutz...I have no idea what they are worth though. Keep us informed on a price.

I am VERY interested. However, I know the price on something like that is pretty much impossible to keep cheap.

Thanks for the replies - sounds like a few people may be interested (which I consider good since we have no product nor much info on it yet). I will ask chris to make an initial run.

I am not trying to be sneaky or anything on pricing - it just really depends on what's involved in the machinework - and we wont know that until we have made a few.

Thanks for the input! We will hopefully have the first batch ready by the end of august.

Most C5 output shafts are around $300.

I do believe that Dr. Bennight has fallen off the face of the planet.

I assume the billet output shaft would be stronger? ...are there problems with our stock ones breaking?

Are you talking about the slip yoke that goes into the transmission (off the driveshaft) or litterally the output shaft that is in the transmission?
