I guess if you are moving those all the time I could see the splinter thing being a real pita.
I like the wooden box idea way better than the cardboard/shrink wrapped packaging that nearly every other cluch comes with. I'd be pissed if I had to send one back becuase the ring gear was bunged up. It looks like Textralia goes all out on every aspect of their clutches!

A couple install tips for ya:
-take a wire brush and remove the paint on the pressure plate where the bolts go
-put red loctite in the flywheel threads for the PP bolts, not just on the bolts
