Look at where the hydrolic line goes into the trans. It is about 2" above that. 7/16" shallow socket on a 1/4" breaker bar is your freind on this.

Yeah, it is above the hydraulic line. It is a PITA to access and can be messy. I was able to get the socket on, but not with a breaker bar attached. Then I could not get the breaker bar on the socket. And trying to get the socket back off was next to impossible. Others have had better luck, but my friend and I did not. I just sourced a bleeder extension from Steve-D to put on my car during the clutch swap next month. That will eliminate the problems of getting to it and make the process MUCH easier.

does anyone know what the threads are in the slave? I have access to a million used steel braided lines but I can not figure out what the threads are. I have tried pipe and the AN threads and they do not work, the only thing that has come close to screwing in there was a 3/8ths bolt. If I knew the thread I could just screw in a fitting and attach a -3 line with a bleeder attached to the end of it.

^ That might even work for a one person bleeding job, just temporarily route it under the car..
