Default My t-56 is toast

heres a list ( In order) of how it went bad

grinding into 3rd at high RPMS

grinding into 3rd upshift or downshift no matter what RPM

occasionally getting stuck in 4th ( especially if Im in 4th and decelerate with it still in 4th to a speed lower than 40 mph or so)

Not going into almost any gear at all and if I get it in It is remaining stuck

3rd and 4th are useless. Today I had to drive using 1st, 2nd, 5th and 6th.. and gradualy I felt like I was losing 5th... then 6th....

I dont eeven wanna drive it anymore because I cant!!

Dude doesnt sound like a major problem to me! Your saying 3 and 4 are grinding...... From what you just said sound like it could just be the syncro. because 3 and 4 are on the same one which could cause your grinding and not allowing it to dissengage/ engage. I could be wrong man but just trying to help. Sounds like a rebuild could be done no problem! G/L though man!

GO COLTS!!!!!!!

Get the basic rebuild kit, steet 3-4 synchro, and some billet keys. Then if you need anything else after opening it up just order it.

You won't be too bad off. While you're in their, upgrade some other little things as well. Mine is down right now courtesy of the T56, but give T56rebuilds a call, tell them what's wrong, and they'll get ya what you need. They're the best.

Good luck with the rebuild!
