Mine has been in my car for about 4yrs now & 3 of those years holding up to my current H/C combo. I daily drive it & beat on it every chance I get. It still doesn't slip & just recently my 130k mile stock master just started to stick at high RPM shifts.
I forsee a Monster clutch & Tick master/remote bleeder upgrade in my future.

Mine let loose at the track last night and I think that I glazed it over. I tried to let it out at 4500 and the pedal stuck to the floor and all I could smell after that was burnt clutch it suck. Now it chatters when I take off. Do you guys think that I need a new clutch?

I'm due for a new clutch in my Z28. I am not as concerned with track passes and longetivity. I drive about 25k+ a year and don't wanna be buy a new clutch once a year.
I have my concerns about putting in another clutch with a self adjusting pressure plate like the stock one. My pedal likes to stick after holding it down for a few seconds now, I don't even have to power shift anymore for it to stick. I have a tilton master cylinder and a newer slave. I am worried the ls7 will start to do the same after a while.
Should I go with the LS7 or get something like a monster Stage 3???
I have my concerns about putting in another clutch with a self adjusting pressure plate like the stock one. My pedal likes to stick after holding it down for a few seconds now, I don't even have to power shift anymore for it to stick. I have a tilton master cylinder and a newer slave. I am worried the ls7 will start to do the same after a while.
Should I go with the LS7 or get something like a monster Stage 3???
Update to my LS7 clutch
It's been 50k miles now, 200+ drag launches at the track, god knows how many stop and go, many downshifts, burnouts etc
Pedal is releasing high now indicating end of life or near it, BUT its still holding. The winter tires (225) on it are getting roasted by the clutch on launch still and more than half throttle off idle launch. I'll have my spring rims (245) on it in another few weeks, but I suspect the clutch will still have more holding power than the tires. Once the 315's are on, will be a toss up if the clutch decides to slip or not.

If your clutch pedal is sticking it isn't the LS7 clutches fault. It's in your hydrolics. You need a better master cylinder.

I've got a tilton 76-1000 master cylinder that I installed in December. I doubt that the master is causing it. My slave was put in last summer too. I'm using a -4 AN line to connect the two.

The only problem I have seen causing a sticking pedal is a master not up to the demands, bad slave or combo of both. Just b/c you put in a new master doesn't mean it's doin the job. It's something in your hydrolics otherwise you wouldn't be having pedal stick issues.

change and Master/Sleve Cylinder even if you have 2001/2002
change the Pilot Bearings .. buy ARP bolts for flywheel and pressure plate ..
Byunspeed is a good place to buy the LS7 clutch with cylinders , bearings and ARP bolts

I think most will agree that the LS7 clutch is definetly good for a lot more than 350rwhp.
450rwhp is about the limit on the LS7 clutches. As a street driven daily driver there is no better clutch.
Drag racing on the otherhand is a completely different story allthough some do it anyways.

I went to a Textralia OZ700 Z-grip and haven't had any issues since.
