i cant wait to rip on this sucker!!! how long did you guys wait to really get on it? im prob around 300-350 miles

i waited about 100 miles i couldn't take it anymore and got on it. I didn't do any WOT 1-5 gear runs though. not for at least 350-400 miles

i think im going to wait till like 500, but after driving on it this week and putting some miles on the clutch it definitly feels a bit better, when i first got the car back getting the car rolling was pretty intense

whats up andy ill b in the states in about a month and a half!!! is Dezert Demonz still the spot or what??? PM me when u see this post, good luck w/ the clutch, i went w/ the Ls7 clutch, only got about 150mi on it, and i got the opposite problem, mine engages like 2in off the floor, but i heard its suposed to move up over time, we'll see when i get back. later bro take it easy

so is the answer shim or no shim with the powergrip hd and adjustable master cyl. on a 2000 ss????????????????

I have no shim with my hd but I did the adjustable master mod.

According to RAM, the clutch has no breakin time.

I didn't let it break in, I just drove it like I stole it!

No issues here... love it!

If you get this clutch you should definitly use the provided shim. My car had this clutch w/o the shim when I bought it and it prematurely failed. Just getting an adjustable master is not a good fix. This causes your slave to over extend and can cause it to blow and leak (like mine did). Now with stock master and the shim it works perfectly.
