The pedal is firm and definately slipping

The most common cause for slippage is contamination (of course, improper break-in and use of a non-flat flywheel are also possible culprits). I say pull the kit and send me pics. We can then go from there. Thanks,

It has 740 miles and not have gotten over 4k rpms, because of new motor break in. The flywheel and pressure plate have some burnt spots.
