What clutch are you using???
What clutch are you using??? After I do my heads/cam package install next spring, I know my clutch will suffer. I have a 2001 SS, so I have the better hydrolics.
I take my car to the track a few times a year, and I never drive my car in the rain or snow.
What brand clutch would be the best combo for street and strip? I would like to keep the clutch pedal feel, close to stock.
I am also spraying a 75 shot too. I know I will have to replace the rear end with a 12 bolt, but that will be after the clutch.
I only use Nitto drag radials at the track and drive around town on street tires.

Re: What clutch are you using??? Your going to hear pro's and con's on all the the best higher end clutches. We all want to beleive we picked the best one and that it works the best.
With all that said, I'll start.
I have a Cartek set up. No problems on the street or strip. I do 4500 - 5500 RPM dumps at the track and run constent 11.8's, no spray, street ET's, w/ line lock.

Paul, I had my clutch done when I had Cartek do Stage II H/C package. It was almost a year ago I think it was about $900 - 1000 for the full upgrade, clutch, PP, master, slave. I have a 98 conv. with a race weight of 3750 lbs. No more slipping, no more 2-3 shifting problems. Other Mods are torque arm, LCA's, Hal's,Air bag, E/T streets, Line Lock,Denny's DS, 4.10's in the 10 bolt which I'm running until I need the 12 bolt.

Re: What clutch are you using??? My Cartek setup is working well. How many 3600 lb 6-speeds are cutting wheel-pulling 1.4X 60' times all-motor? There aren't many heavy A4 cars getting my short times on motor <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: What clutch are you using??? i have a star spec stage 3 w/ceramic disk and it HOLD LIKE A **** <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> but it does have a slight chatter but it is no big deal and i drive every day i paid $485.00 from fast toys but i saw a gp that is like a $100 less than what i paid and it made me <img border="0" alt="[barf]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_barf.gif" />
