High RPM Shifting? Problem! Help!
Trying to see if anyone knows what’s going on with my transmission here. To start off here is what occurs. When I go from any dead stop and try to launch my car no matter at what RPM I launch at when I try to shift into any gear past 5500 RPMS it feels like I hit a wall and it does not go into gear. The transmission doesn’t grind it just doesn’t go in. Previously this wasn’t happening and it would go in fine at any RPM but it has started this as of the last few months. The strange thing is if I go from a rolling start at any MPH it will shift perfect and smoothly at 7000 RPMS. The car has a “Kentucky Clutch” in it, the clutch seems to be of good quality, it’s a 4 puck ceramic clutch and holds up fine from rolls with nitrous. The clutch doesn’t slip so I wouldn’t figure it would be this? I have also tried to adjust my master cylinder and that didn’t seem to work. I wouldn’t think it would be synchros or forks but may be? I just the transmission rebuilt in December so it hasn’t been that long. Is there any suggestions? I did look at my hydraulic fluid and it seemed to have a brown tint to it?

1. Drill Mod is done.
2. 01-02 Slave Cyclinder and a Ram Adjustable Master.
3. Ram.
I forgot to add this is another thing. My car recently started not going into 2nd when you downshift unless you act like your going to first gear then it goes into 2nd perfectly? Is the tranny screwed?

you might want to bleed it again and double check to make sure there is no air in the lines. i had a buddy with this similar problem and it turned out he just had to bleed it.

Make sure your master cyl. rod isn't bent where it hooks to the clutch pedal. I started having this same problem and it ended up being a bent rod. So check it out before you spend any $$$
