I have the Pro 5.0 and lou's short stick and love it as well. It has a lot of pull towards the center which makes the 2-3 shift a LOT easier. You wouldn't be disappointed w/ it.

I can't stand how the Pro 5.0 or the B&M ripper feel...they're both crappy in my opinion. The Hurst is a nice shifter (I like the older Hurst Competition Plus even more than the Billet Plus...but I don't think you can get it anymore)...much nicer than stock...the one I never see anybody mention that I feel is also nice is the Kirban (g-body guys seem to know of Kirban more...but they make T56 F-Body shifters too)...they're (both the Hurst and the Kirban) good shifters. Can't miss a gear with them, yet they're not notchy and/or noisy like the B&M/Pro 5.0 are.

I have had the pro 5.0 with a Lou's short stick shortened and inch for a couple months now and wouldn't trade it for anything. The wot shifts are awesome and i like the notchyness of it even driving it daily. It has a little more noise than the stock hurst but while driving, it is not noticeable to me. Also the 2-3 shift is just about a no brainer now compared to what it was with the hurst.

Pretty sure the Kirban got discontinued..

But yeah I like hearing this feedback, trying to decide what I want to get.

I love my hurst billet plus shifter, but not the stick it comes with. Seems to me that it was hard to get into the gate going from 2nd to 3rd using the crooked stick. I put a shorter straight stick on and it is nails now.
