Which Clutch for Nitrous and Cam???
Im going to get a 100 wet shot and an aftermarket cam. I dont know which odf each yet, but i want to get a new clutch first, because mine is a stocker with 43k on it. I was lookin at a spec III, but i was wondeing if i should just get the clutch or if i need the rest, like flywheel, and all that stuff.

Do yourself a BIG favor and go with RAM. RAM stands behind their products better then anyone. The clutch kit is a little pricey but you get what you pay for in the car world. You would need the 910 clutch disk designed to work with nitrous. If I were you I would get the RAM 910/402 VDS clutch kit. The kit would include:
-billet steel flywheel(the disk will chew up your OEM flywheel).
-clutch 910 disk
-402 pressure plate
-throw out bearing
-adjustable master cylinder(new) You absolutely need to have an adjustable master.
-new slave cylinder
Contact Rapid Motorsports, Mikey will hook you up!

I'll throw this out for what it's worth.
I use the RAM 980 disk, and kept the stock flywheel. The 980 is iron sintered one side, organic for the flywheel side.
6K miles later, it is fine.
What would be the sign to know if you're flywheel is being chewed up?

i went with the SPEC Stage 3 carbon on mine with their Gen2 pressure plate, resurfaced flywheel, and stock 2001 hydraulics.
It's been in for about 6,000 miles and has held up to quite a few 6,000rpm dumps spraying a 100shot out of the hole on ET Drags.
With your car being a 99 model, you've got to upgrade hydraulics anyways, I would probably go with the entire Ram VDS kit if I were in your position.

Get the mcloed twin disk and be done with it. You never know what the future will bring. I did a spec stage 4 last year and now I'm wishing I would have went with the twin. No problems with the spec but it's only rated at 700hp and I hope to surpass that.
