Exclamation HELP needed from those who know there stuff.. What the **** are these pieces?!?!

Hey guys,

I need some expert opinions.

I have been having some problems with my clutch/tranny etc.. not really the point so I will get down to it..

After pulling the transmission out, I found what my problem was..and this is what I found:

The big piece was wedged in between the fingers on the pressure plate and all the rest of them were pieces laying loose inside the middle of the flywheel.

They are all about 1/8" thick

Now, they don't look like anything that could have came off the clutch or pressure plate, so what the **** are these and where did they come from?

I am putting in a new clutch and pressure plate, throwout bearing etc.. but don't want to put things back together until I know what the hell those pieces came from.

Any help ASAP would be GREATLY appreciated!

Well its obviously not any split off parts from the trans or motor, so you are left with the clutch assembly, and thats not part of your flywheel. It does look like the internals of the pressure plate. I would put $$ on it.

Don't worry it is going in the trash, I just ordered a new pressure plate and Clutch tonight.

Any idea how it could have broken?
