First LS7 Clutch Install
ok, so like the title says this is my clutch install so I appreciate all the help I can get. I have decided to go with the LS7 Clutch/LS2 Flywheel setup on my 99 Camaro.
I just wanted to make sure that I order all the right parts, so does this kit include everything I need
http://www.byunspeed.com/product_inf...0d955e4c4eb30a
I am ordering the new slave, but do I also need to order the flywheel bolt kit and GM Hydraulic Clutch Main Cylinder/Rod???
Does anyone have any link to any step by step LS7 clutch installs with pics???
Does the price for the kit look reasonable???
Thanks for the help!

Does you clutch pedal currently give you problems?? If your anwser is yes, then you'll want to replace the master also.
The slave & throw-out bearing are one assembly on these cars, so buying the slave is good enough. You might pick up a new pilot bearing though.
The install is VERY simple & straight forward. It installs exactly like a stock clutch. No guess work involved. You can also either re-use you stock flywheel bolts with some red loctite or upgrade to the ARP hardware.
I love my LS7 clutch & its been installed for over a year now. I daily drive it 300+ miles a week in town/highway. No chatter & it feel like a stock clutch except it holds alot better. It has handled my current H/C combo without a problem so far.

^^good to hear. Just ordered mine right now.
OP- the install is pretty easy, i've done a couple on friends cars. This is my first non-stock clutch. Finally burnt up the old one.

Thanks a lot for the help!
Just ordered the LS7 clutch kit, slave, and new bolts so hopefully I should be all set! Knock on wood, hopefully I will be ok without replacing the master cylinder

I'm on my stock 99' master cylinder with a little over 107k on the clock. They are just kinda hit n miss. They either last for a long *** time or they go out earlier than you would think it should.
