mc leod clutch sqweels?????? i just installed a mc leod clutch w/ an adjustable master slave cylinder. its still in the breakin period (about 120 miles on it) and when i engage the clutch at low rpm's it doesnt chatter barely at all, but makes a lond sqeeling sound. but when i engage the clutch at higher rpm's it chatters a lil bit w/ no sqeel. is this normal?? im just a lil worried.

Re: mc leod clutch sqweels?????? Mine squeels like a bitch too, don't know what it is, but if urs is a rev-lok (like mine), they suck ***!!! I cracked a revised one, and now have another one in there that they sent me and it's already goin south (or at least I think it is, not sure if it's the clutch or the hydraulics) after not even 3,000 miles! 
This is why i'm swappin to a Turbo 400, can't stand all the clutch problems with these T-56's!

Re: mc leod clutch sqweels?????? It's normal for the sintered iron clutches to squeel a little bit, especially when they're cold. Just give it some hell and it will quiet down a bit. (The ceramic clutches do this during break in as well.)

Re: mc leod clutch sqweels?????? Juiced LS1 is correct. All of the sintered iron disks do make this noise. It is nothing to worry about and it didn't bother me after a few miles.

Re: mc leod clutch sqweels?????? My Mc Leod Rev-Lok clutch has squealed like a stuck pig from day one. Now with 5000 miles I just limped the car home. The clutch drove me crazy and now it is broken. I think the pressure plates collaped. Now instead of finishing my N20 install and a tune I get to spend alot of money on my third clutch in 14000 miles.
