Will a not properly bled master cylinder and slave cause a chatter when I roll out in first gear. Not a wot roll out just a gradual roll. I had my flywheel machined but I think its not straight. Car drives fine once its rolling. Any one got some ideas? IF it is the flywheel, can i get a new one with out buying a billet flywheel? I have a new spec clutch.

How many miles on the clutch? Sounds like clutch chatter. I've never had a Spec but I think they have a break in time on em. Most of the after market clutches will chatter untill they are broken in...

its brand new. I just put it in on monday night, so less than 200miles. It just feels like the whole driveline is about to fall out. I have never owned a car like this long enough to change the clutch. I have owned many 6spd ls1's in the past. I have never heard of a new clutch chattering. So you think it might go away?

Yea it should go away when it's broken in. My Tex did it for a little while. I think the Spec break in is like 400-500 miles or so...

I have noticed that sometimes its not as bad and then sometimes it horrible. I am starting to think my motor mounts are shot, wouldn't hurt to change them anyway.

my spec took almost 1000 miles to stop chattering...and hasn't done it since.

worn out mount will probably make it feel worse...but in all reality it's normal.

it takes time for the clutch disc to mate to the FW and PP.

it is a funny feeling to have the car shudder like it does. and it all depends on how the clutch is released...some times it's worse.

just keep shifting gently...it'll break in.
